<li>Secure HIPAA-compliant instant messaging with patients and colleagues within your practice and the MedXCom network</li>
<li>Access recent patient histories and profiles, and listen to voicemail messages</li>
<li>Return patient calls via the MedXCom app while protecting caller id</li>
<li>All calls facilitated through MedXCom are recorded and can be transcribed as needed</li>
<li>Electronically prescribe medications (Meets CMS requirements, iPrescribe app and subscription are necessary for e-prescription support)</li>

By utilizing this app for patient communications, practices can invoice for reimbursable calls and telephone consultations. All calls and data transmissions are handled securely and are HIPAA compliant. Calls made through the MedXCom app are recorded and stored, reducing medical malpractice risk and simplifying call recording retrieval.
